Move-Out Cleaning Checklist for Singapore Tenants

A careful handover clean helps tenants return a rented home in the condition required by their tenancy agreement. Check the agreement and inspection notes first, then work through every room before returning the keys.

Kitchen

• Degrease the hood, hob and backsplash
• Wipe inside and outside all cabinets and drawers
• Clean the oven, microwave and refrigerator (defrost if needed)
• Descale the sink and polish taps

Bathrooms

• Descale and sanitise toilets, sinks and showers
• Remove soap scum and limescale from tiles and glass
• Clear drains and wipe down exhaust fans

Living areas & bedrooms

• Dust skirting, ledges, light fittings and aircon units
• Clean windows, grilles and tracks
• Wipe down doors, switches and wardrobes
• Vacuum and mop all floors
