Handyman & Furniture Assembly, Sengkang

Project Overview

This project covered handyman and furniture assembly work across a newly collected BTO flat in Sengkang. Moving into a brand-new home usually comes with a long list of flat-pack furniture waiting to be built and items that need mounting, and the owners preferred to have this handled properly in one organised visit rather than working through the boxes themselves over several evenings.

AllDone Construction assembled the flat-pack wardrobe and shelving units and carried out the mounting work around the flat, positioning each piece where the owners wanted it and checking that everything sat level and secure. Because the flat had only just been handed over, care was taken to keep the space clean and to work carefully around the freshly finished walls and floors.

Grouping the tasks into a single, well-planned visit meant the work could be completed efficiently and tidily. The outcome was a set of correctly assembled, securely positioned furniture pieces, leaving the owners with usable storage and a tidier home to settle into.

How the Work Was Managed

Parts were unpacked and checked against their contents before assembly began, so that any missing or damaged components could be flagged early rather than midway through a build. Each item was assembled following its instructions, then aligned and secured for stability. Mounting points were assessed for the wall type before any drilling, and the work area was kept tidy throughout, with packaging and offcuts cleared away before the flat was handed back to the owners.

Project Outcome

By the end of the visit, the wardrobe, shelving and mounted items had been assembled and put in place, giving the owners functional storage without the time, tools and effort of building everything themselves. The flat was left clean and tidy and ready to use, with the packaging removed as part of the handover.
